This simple scenario illustrates how Genesis PIR detectors work with Active IR beams to secure a car forecourt. Any perimeter can be protected in this way.
In this particular scenario, the intruder is detected by the PIR detector or by breaking the IR beam. An alert is transmitted to the Masthead Receiver (Enterprise ref: PIR511) which in turn is connected to an Alarm Relay Output Unit (PIR514). This can be connected to an alarm panel or DVR/NVR. Between one and four PIR514 units can be connected with a single masthead receiver to provide a maximum of 64 alarm and tamper contacts. For smaller sites a Masthead Receiver with Relays (PIR512) can be used which provides up to alarm outputs.
Wireless or hard wired Genesis detectors come in a variety of lens patterns up to 60m detection range. See the Enterprise site for full details.
Wireless Active IR Beams are available with a 60m range (IRB303) or 100m range (IRB301) and are fitted with Genesis transmitters to work with the full range of products.
Genesis detectors also integrate with both HIKVISION and DAHUA NVRs. Speak to your Enterprise branch and they can advise on which models are compatible.
