The Advanced Relay Module is available in 3 formats: 1) a standard Delayed Release Timer, 2) a Pulse Count Timer or, 3) a Programmed Timer, programmed to order. The Advanced Relay Module is a simple low cost timer. Suitable for door access, door open warning systems, intruder, fire, CCTV systems or other applications where a reliable timer is required. It has been designed for 12 or 24 Volt DC operation and has a double pole relay rated at 3 Amps complete with LED indication. The standard DRT comes with two time scales either between 0-60secs or 1-16.5 mins. The pulse timer and programmed timer are both designed to order.
OPERATION - There are 3 modes
Latched Mode With the Latch link in (LAT), the relay will latch on after a trigger input until reset by shorting reset pins (RST).
Non-latched mode (timed) With Latch link (LAT) removed; the relay can be activated by a momentary trigger for a timed period, i.e. 0 - 16.5 minutes, please refer to time scale sheet.
Delayed Mode (timed) With Latch link (LAT) removed, and a permanent trigger applied the relay latches. When the trigger is removed the timer starts counting for a programmed period (see time sheet), after which the relay will deactivate. If the trigger is reapplied during the timed period the timer will reset and the relay remains latched
The following table explains how to manipulate the timer settings of the IS ARM by adjusting the Range links and dil switches at SW 1 in order to achieve a timed period between 1 second and 16 minutes.
By using the Range links, the time range is changed:
A : 0 - 22 SEC
B : 24 - 60 SEC
C : 1 - 9 MIN
D : 9 - 16.5 MIN
By adjusting the dil switches at SW1 the time is set.
